Overseas Teachers

This course is designed for teachers who have come from abroad and are who are fairly new to the English National Curriculum. After taking part in this course you will feel more confident when starting to teach in England. Planning, assessment and how to map progress with children will be covered. Suggested technology resources and ideas will be provided which are suitable as you move from school to school. Positive behaviour strategies that work well in a temporary work setting will be provided.

We will be running this course during half terms which will allow greater flexibility with your work schedule.  Furthermore, prices will be less than our other courses but this will depend on amount of attendees.

  • A brief history of the National Curriculum and what subjects are covered. The new changes to the curriculum
  • Planning and assessment
  • Behaviour management strategies
  • Simple and effective technology ideas to use when in new schools
  • How to use programming software such as scratch
