Maggie Morrissey

Maggie has considerable experience of teaching within primary schools and is a primary science and technology specialist. She has worked in all areas of the primary sector from EYFS through to year six. She has managed a variety of subject areas during her career and has been instrumental in raising the standards of technology use within the schools that she has taught in.

Maggie is currently completing her Computing in Education MA at Kings College London, and is in the process of researching how technology can support the teaching and learning of English to non-native English speakers whilst she is based in Moscow, Russia. She has also worked as a freelance training consultant receiving many positive comments about the courses and training that she has run. In addition she has written articles for online magazines Innovate my school and ICT in Practice her article for this magazine appears here. In January 2014 she was delighted to take part at BETT on the NAACE ‘Ask an Expert’ stand, where she offered advice on how technology could support assessment of the new primary science curriculum. She is a member of The Association of Science Educators (ASE)
